Alberta Volleyball Youth Beach Tournaments

Alberta Volleyball will once again be hosting the Youth Beach Tournament series for the 13U to 18U age classes as well as the High School & Junior High School Provincial Championships. The Youth Beach Tournament Series age groups are: 14U (born in 1999 or later), 16U (1997 or later), and 18U (1995 or later). Volleyball Canada will host the Youth National Championships.

General Information

3. Tournament Registration Deadline: is on the Monday at 1800 EST (1600 MST) before the event. It is the players' responsibility to confirm their own registration.
4. Membership Fee - There is a $49 membership fee ($25 AVA; $24 VC) that must be paid prior to entering into all events. You must be a member in order to successfully register on-line. If you or your partner are not members, the computer will not let you enter into the event(s).
5. Registration Process - The AVA accepts on-line registrations ONLY. As previously stated, you must become an AVA member in order to successfully register for events. Step-by-step instructions on How to Register for Beach Tournaments.

Junior & Senior High School Provincials

General Information

1. Eligibility- Athletes must be attending an Alberta High School during the 2012/2013 school year. All players on a team must attend the same school
2. Playing Rules- The tournament will be 2’s format; teammates must be of the same gender. Volleyball Canada Beach Rules will be followed.
3. All teams must have a teacher or adult supervisor
4. How To Register for Jr/Sr High School Provincials. Ensure that you have filled out and returned the Team Registration Form provided when registering.  This is where your partners info will be submitted.

Volleyball Canada National Championships

Volleyball Canada will be hosting Nationals Championships, dates & location to be determined. All Volleyball Canada's National Championships are an OPEN FORMAT. This allows ALL Alberta teams to participate. For more information please visit  www.volleyball.ca.
