Winter Programs- STARS Calgary
FUNdamental Skills Development Co-Ed Ages 6 - 13
Recommended by Volleyball Canada and the Alberta Volleyball Association, STARS Volleyball
teaches the game of volleyball in a fun way to young players. The emphasis is on
fundamental skill development with the help of modified rules and equipment (lower nets,
smaller courts AND lighter balls for the younger age groups)
STARS teaching philosophy is to emphasize the components of Fun, Fair Play and Positive
Attitude while the participant learns to play the game of volleyball. STARS Volleyball
coaches are professionally trained in the approach and philosophy, which has made STARS
a successful program across the province.
