Volunteers Needed for 2012 Canadian Open

The largest single-sport national championship in Canadian history!

The success of this tournament will be no small part due to the hundreds of dedicated volunteers that are necessary in all aspects of this massive event. Toronto 2012 will provide volunteers - both young and experienced - the opportunity to work in a fun, volleyball-oriented atmosphere. Be a part of this exciting event by volunteering at times that suits your schedule and your expertise.

Our volunteer opportunities include:

Labour Crew

(No volleyball experience required)

Technical Crew

(Knowledge of volleyball is beneficial)

Event Crew

(No volleyball experience required)

Set-up, maintenance and take down of equipment within venue
Involves physical work

Entering and posting results
Competition crew
Court crew

Assist with team check-in
Day Pass Sales
Awards ceremony coordination
Service to athletes, officials, volunteers, and spectators
Coordinating team transportation
Various tournament responsibilities

Orientation and training will be provided. Minimum age is 14 years old.
