Under 12 Indoor

The amount of volleyball programming for the under-12 age group is steadily increasing.  Currently, these programs takes one of four main forms.

1) Mini-volleyball is a Volleyball Canada program designed for children in grades  K- 6.
 
2) Atomic Volleyball is a Volleyball Canada program designed for children between 8-12 years of age (You can apply to receive a Free Atomic Volleyball Starter Kit).

3) STARS Volleyball is a privately operated program designed for children in Grades 1-6 (supported by Alberta Volleyball).

4) Other Programs are privately run programs by various organizations.

Under 12 Program Dates

• For STARS program dates, please visit the STARS website
• Alberta Volleyball will be running a 8-week Atomic Program at the GO Centre starting in January. For more information click HERE, please contact Carrie Fedun at cfedun@albertavolleyball.com if you have any questions
• The Dinos Women's Volleyball Club normally runs an Atomic program in January.  For more information, please contact Raynell Lavertu at ray.lavertu@gmail.com 
• The Calgary Sparks Volleyball Club is running an Atomic Program starting in September. For more information, please contact Jared Mathes at contact@calgarysparks.com
• The Chestermere Recreation Centre will be running both an Atomic Volleyball Program (Grades 5-8) and a Mini Volleyball Program (Grades 1-3) beginning in September.
• FOG Volleyball Club (Edmonton)- Little Foggers Atomic Program
• Ecole Lacombe Upper Elementary School Atomic Program- begins February 1. Contact Derek Rankin for more information at drankin@wolfcreek.ab.ca
  
• SEAVC Rattlers (Medicine Hat) Developmental Program
• Grande Prairie Wolves Atomic Volleyball
• Fort McMurray PAWS Volleyball at the Syncrude Sport and Wellness Centre.
• The Cochrane Jaguars run an Atomic Volleyball Program each fall- www.jaguarsvolleyball.ca.

Register Your 12U Program - Receive Free Prizes/Giveaways

If you register your 12U Program (i.e. Atomic & Mini) and it’s participants (minimum of 8) with Alberta Volleyball, we will send you some Prizes/Giveways for your program.

• Register as a Club Contact ($50.00 + GST to become a member of Alberta Volleyball). Please refer to our How to Register Page for more information (either #1- Registering New Club Contact, or #2- Returning Club Contacts)
• Register your Atomic or Mini Program as a TEAM in the 12U Division (Review How to Register- Club Contacts Registering Clubs, Teams, Coaches, & Players)
• Register each of your participants as Team Members (you will need a Valid email Address from each of your participants). There is a $5/player cost associated with adding players to your team.

Once you have finished the registration, email Carrie Fedun at cfedun@albertavolleyball.com and she will arrange to have prizes sent to you.
