Norceca Volleyball Championships

Volleyball Canada announces that it will offer 16U women & 17U men club teams the chance to bid to represent Canada at the 2010 Youth Norceca Championships.  Based on the announced date of the tournament, Team Canada Volleyball’s financial situation, VC’s LTAD principles and guidelines, Volleyball Canada will not be sending a National team to this event.

Any 16U women or 17U men’s club team, member of Volleyball Canada for 2009-2010 season, interested in representing Canada at the event must submit an application before January 29, 2010.  Volleyball Canada will select a team amongst all applications received based on the criteria in the following document: 16U women, 17U men.

Volleyball Canada also announces that it will offer the winning women’s 18U club team from the 2010 Open National Championship the chance to represent Canada at the 2010 Junior Norceca Championship.
Any 18U club team, member of Volleyball Canada for 2009-2010 season, interested in representing Canada at the event must submit a letter of intent to participate (should they win 18U Nationals) prior to March 1, 2010. This letter of intent should include the information listed in the following document.
