High Performance Camps

For 2012, Alberta Volleyball will once again be running 5 regional camps throughout the province to continue to provide athletes with opportunities at higher levels of coaching, training and sport science education. 

These camps are open to all athletes interested in furthering their development in the volleyball.  These camps will also provide an opportunity for athletes to be identified for the Team Alberta Summer Programs and we encourage any athletes interested in Team Alberta to attend; however, these are not selection camps.

The 2012 High Performance Camp dates and locations are:

February 4-5, 2012          15U/16U and 17U/18U     Grande Prairie

*Please note that athletes are welcome to attend more than one High Performance Camp or a camp not in their region if there is a conflict with other commitments.

2012 Regional High Peformance Camp Schedules (revised: January 21, 2012)

Registration and Cost:
Registration is now available here.  Athletes who do not have an acccount with the National Registration System (NRS) for volleyball should visit the following link for help to register.  Athletes who have an NRS account should log-in and select the Recreational Player Role, $5.00 fee, to become a current member of Alberta Volleyball so you can register for the appropriate camp.

The cost of each of the camps is $175.00 (+gst) and participants will receive:

• 3-4 on-court volleyball sessions
• 2 sport science sessions and information on the Alberta Sport Development Centres
• High Peformance Camp Clothing
• Opportunity to be identified for the Team Alberta program
