GO Youth Volleyball Programs - SPRING 2012

GO Atomic

GO Atomic is an 8 week program with adapted rules for youth ages 9-12 years.  Each session is 1.5hours with every session being 45 minutes of practice followed by 45 minutes of game play. Spring training sessions begin in March.  There are 2 stages in our Atomic Program, for additional program information on the stages:
Stage 1       9-10 years (Grade 4-5) Tuesdays 4:30-6:00 Gym 8 - Mar 13-May 1, 2012
Stage 2       11-12 years (Grade 6-7) Wednesdays 4:45-6:15 Gym 9 - Mar 14-May 2, 2012

GO League

Alberta Volleyball Youth GO League is for athletes between the ages of 13-18 (13-14U and 15-18U).  The SPRING GO League runs twice a week for 8 weeks beginning in May.  Their are two sessions each week, one session will focus on skill acquisition while the second session will be game based.  The GO League will provide participants with an opportunity to work on fundamental systems, strategies, and team play.  Wednesdays 4:30-6:00 /Sundays 4:30-6:00, May 2-June 20, 2012

* If you are already a member please log in using your previous username and password.

This membership will cost $5 +gst.  Once you have become a registered member you can go into the Calendar tab at the top and register for the program.

Refund Policy- A full refund (less a $15.00 administration fee) will be granted to any person withdrawing from the Program 5 Days prior to its commencement.  All registration fees are forfeit upon cancellation after the 5 Days.
 
 

 

GO Community Centre General Information

The Go Community Centre (GCC) will be an integral part of Edmonton’s sport landscape. The facility is located west of Saville Centre and a short walk from the Campus LRT Station. Please download the GO Community Centre Map for directions to the GCC.

The GO Community Centre is a partnership of four proven community sports organizations: the Edmonton Grads Basketball Centre, Ortona Gymnastics Club, Edmonton Volleyball Centre Society and the University of Alberta.

The Edmonton Volleyball Centre Society (EVCS) brings together representatives from the Alberta Volleyball Association (AVA), the Northern Alberta Volleyball Club (NAVC), FOG Volleyball, Millwoods Recreational Volleyball Society and the Edmonton Volleyball Association (EVA), all of which bring a rich history of providing volleyball programs for all ages in the Capital Region.

 

Booking Gym Time 

The EVCS will be responsible for booking Volleyball related activities into the Go Centre throughout the year. If you are interested in Requesting court time, please complete the EVCS Go Centre Gym Request Form.

Drop-In Volleyball

Description: The EVCS is offering a new pick-up/drop-in volleyball program for adults and youth interested in playing indoor volleyball in the new GO Centre. All recreational and competitive players are welcome.
Date: Fridays beginning July 8, 2011
Time: 7 - 10 p.m.
Fee: Adult- $8 Single Admission or $70 Multi-Admission (10 visits)
       Youth/Senior (13-17 yrs or 55+)- $6 Single Admission or $50 Multi-Admission (10 visits)
       Child (Under 12)- $4 Single Admission or $30 Multi-Admission (10 visits)
