2012 Coaches Symposium
The Alberta Volleyball Coaches Symposium will be held January 27 - 29, 2012 in Edmonton at the Go Centre.
Featuring:
- Over 8 hours of instruction from Canada's top coaches
- Alberta Volleyball is proud to have John Kessel as a featured speaker at the AVA Coaching Symposium January 27-29 in Edmonton. Since 1985 John has been working for USA Volleyball (USAV); he is a sought after International lecturer and has conducted seminars in over 30 nations. For over a decade he served on the FIVB’s Technical Commission, and is a FIVB Level IV Instructor. John is also a busy author with over half a dozen books and his blog called “Growing the Game Together”, one of the most popular and informative blogs of hundreds found on the US Olympic Committee’s Team USA website.

- 9 am - 1 pm Level 1 & 2 Court Sessions*
- 9 am - 3 pm Competition Development Module
* Mandatory sessions for coaches taking their level 1 or 2 technical certification
