Alberta Volleyball Summit

Alberta Volleyball is hosting a “Summit” on Saturday, December 11 in Edmonton from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. The Summit will cover two separate sessions, one on Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) & the other on Club Volleyball/Strategic Plan.

The LTAD session will have break-out groups discussing new initiatives and how Alberta Volleyball can be leaders in implementing Long Term Athlete Development. Club directors, grass-roots coaches, elite coaches, and athlete performance specialists are encouraged to attend.

The club volleyball/strategic plan session will have break-out groups discussing club issues such as coach recruitment/retention, referee recruitment/retention, and how clubs can work cooperatively to improve athlete development. This session will also provide an update on Alberta Volleyball’s Strategic Plan and will welcome input from club directors, officials, coaches, athletes, parents, and interested members of the association.
