The Alberta Volleyball Adult System consists of Provincial Championship and National Championship. The information needed to register for the 21U, Senior, and Masters Provincial and National Championships can be found below or for additional tournament information select a page from the left side menu.

Important Downloads

Age Class for 2012

21U - born in 1991, 1992, or 1993.
Adult - born in 1990 or earlier.
Masters- 35+ (born in 1977 or earlier)
Masters- Men 45+ (born in 1967 or earlier)

The Indoor Player Membership fee for 21U, Adult & Masters players is only $10.00/player!

Adult and Masters Provincial Championships

AVA has partnered with Smash for Cash to offer our Adult and Masters teams an opportunity to compete for both Cash Prizing and a Provincial Championship Title.

Date: April 21 - 22, 2012
Location: Calgary, Alberta
Venue: Mount Royal University and the Volleydome
Registration deadline: April 9th, 2012
Early Bird entry fee is $360 until March 17th, $400\team otherwise.

Please keep in mind that teams, players and coaches(team contacts) must be registered on-line with the AVA in order to take part in the Canadian National Open Championship. Prior to registering online please ensure that all athletes and club/team staff have filled in and signed the Alberta Volleyball Waiver form.

AVA online registration for Adult & Masters attending Nationals will require a role selection as an Indoor Player- Adult & Masters ($10+gst). It will also require that the team registers a Coach $50.00+gst (who may also be an athlete) Please review Competition Rgulations for additional age class information.

21U Provincial Championships

21U Mens and Womens Provincial Championships will take place March 31-April 1, 2012 in Leduc Alberta.

For all AVA and Volleyball Canada events team are expected to provide their own scorekeeper. Please see the following downloads for scorekeeper training.
