2013 Canada Games Info and Coaches

Sherbrooke, Quebec will be the proud host of the 2013 Canada Summer Games.  In Sherbrooke, QC in 2013, 4,200 athletes will come to compete for honours in 20 disciplines on 20 different sites. During the 16 days of competition, pleasure, perseverance, team spirit, sweat, surpassing limits, entertainment, deception and success will all be on the menu. This is a great recipe for a spectacular event and Alberta Volleyball looks to continue its success at National Games following the 2009 Canada Games Gold (21U Men) and 2011 Western Canada Games Gold (18U Men).

For the 2013 Canada Games, Alberta Volleyball will be represented by one 21U male team and one 20U female team.  Team selections will occur in April 2013 and the teams will train throughout the spring and summer 2013 until the Games, August 1-9, 2013.

For the summer of 2012, Alberta Volleyball will be holding two Canada Games Training Camps in June and July.  These camps will be by invitation only and the intention is to get Alberta's top athletes training together and developing prior to the team selections and training in the spring and summer 2013.  Any athlete interested in playing for Team AB at the 2013 Canada Games should be in attendance at these camps.
